This year's first salmon ceremony took place on July 20th at Goldstream on the reserve. W̱SÁNEĆ Elders, the Language group, the Reef Net students, and ȽAU, WELṈEW̱ students were a part of the ceremony. The ceremony was carried out to restore the SĆÁNEW̱ to the W̱SÁNEĆ people.
