Camosun College has a number of funded seats available for their Camosun Bridge Watch Rating program starting June 27. It is open to Indigenous people and women who are Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents looking to begin a career working as deckhands in the marine industry. It is also a prerequisite to work on vessels over 500 gross tons and offers several valuable industry certifications.
