CURRENTLY HIRING ASSESSMENT AND SEIZURE CREW AND PROJECT MANAGER
The Salish Sea Indigenous Marine Stewardship Project (SSMS) is a collaboration between Songhees Development Corporation, Salish Sea Industrial Services Ltd and the Dead Boats Disposal Society to remove 100 abandoned boats from the Salish Sea.
The SSMS is an Indigenous Workforce Development project, contributing to jobs and training in the marine industry and promoting Indigenous Leadership in Environmental Stewardship.
TRAINING PROVIDED:
• Small Vessel Operators Proficiency (SVOP) certification training
• UAV Pilot Training (drone operation)
• Marine VHF Radio course
• Marine Safety
• Basic First Aid, and
• COVID-19 Protocol Training
