As we all know, our history has been told and written about us in various non-indigenous books and documents and our oral history was disregarded in much of this.

Participants will be guided through a facilitated discussion to brainstorm we can share our history in a way we want it to be told.

Who are we as W̱SÁNEĆ people and what are the important pieces of history that can be included in the front of our W̱SÁNEĆ marine and land use plan?
What challenges have we overcome and how can we build upon our strengths to develop a future that provides for future generations?

It’s important to think about these questions as we work towards establishing a unified vision for the W̱SÁNEĆ marine and land use plan.
