Open House: Institute of Ocean Sciences
You’re invited to the Institute of Ocean Sciences’ Open House!

TIME: 9am – 3pm
WHERE: 9860 West Saanich Road, Sidney BC (Institute of Ocean Sciences)
This is a family-friendly event organized by the Institute of Ocean Sciences, Pacific Geoscience Centre and Canadian Coast Guard! There will be a variety of free activities all afternoon, including:
- Tours of a Canadian Coast Guard Ship (closed-toed shoes required)
- Hands-on science demos in the Fisheries and Oceans Canada labs
- Info session on job opportunities at sea and in the labs
- Fun games and activities for kids!
All are welcome!
