The NCC is seeking a West Coast Stewardship Coordinator

Taking care of our environment has never been more important than it is today. The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is looking for an enthusiastic West Coast Stewardship Coordinator to join a team committed to protecting our most important natural areas and the plants and animals they sustain.

The West Coast Stewardship Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and implementing stewardship and restoration actions across the West Coast Program Area. Guided by NCC’s conservation plans for the Southwest and Central Coast of British Columbia, the West Coast Stewardship Coordinator will support the active management of a diverse portfolio of Conservation Lands, while seeking to build and maintain relationships within the communities where NCC works. The West Coast Stewardship Coordinator  will work under the direction of the West Coast Program Director and the Manager of Conservation Planning and Stewardship. They will work with the BC Region team in a collaborative, dynamic and interdisciplinary environment.

Although this position identifies Vancouver as the preferred location, there could be some flexibility there for the right candidate. The role will primarily focus on projects across the Central Coast, lower mainland, and around the Pemberton Valley.
