Position Title: Electrician

Reporting To: Electrical Supervisor

Key Relationships: Internal – All VAA Staff; External – Third Party Contractors, Airport Security, Vendors

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Role Summary:

The Electrician is responsible for performing electrical inspections, maintenance, and repair related to airfield lighting and building electrical systems at the Airport. Electricians must be available to be ‘on-call’ to respond to after-hour lighting, signage, electrical emergencies and winter operations. The Electrician is a union position reporting to the Electrical Supervisor and will normally work a 40-hour work week.
