Why have a W̱SÁNEĆ Youth Council?
The W̱SÁNEĆ Leadership Council (WLC) is an organization that was created to provide a space for W̱SÁNEĆ leaders to come together to discuss topics that are in common and relate to the broader territory of W̱SÁNEĆ.
The WLC researches and provides information to W̱SÁNEĆ Leadership on topics in which they have chosen to collaborate with each other.
The WLC’s goal is to ensure the people’s voice is both communicated to leadership and informs the work we do. The WLC accomplishes this goal through our committees and community engagement sessions.
The WLC recognizes that the voices of our youth are unique and necessary and to engage effectively we need a Youth Council to lead the way.
