WSP and A49 are delivering an Indigenous Benefits Plan as part of the project underway for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency in Central Saanich.
These positions are exclusively open for members of the following communities:
- Tsartlip First Nation
- Tsawout First Nation
- Tseycum First Nation
- Pauquachin First Nation
- Malahat First Nation
Job Shadowing/Training
There are a total of 10 positions available for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the fields of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering. Our team will provide job shadowing, unpaid on-the-job training and access to necessary hardware/software for the training period. Upon completion of the 40-hours training, each student will receive a one-time $4,000 bursary to pursue post-secondary education at a suitable institution in their chosen field.
Project Administrator/Coordinator
This is a part-time paid position for a 36-month total duration, ideal for someone looking for training or skill upgrading. Estimated 200 +/- total hours.
Community Liaison Coordinator
This is a part-time paid position, with facilitation of some workshops and ceremonies. Estimated 100 +/- total hours
