NCC is seeking a Manager, Indigenous Engagement & Conservation

The Manager, Indigenous Engagement and Conservation works with the Director and NCC’s Indigenous Engagement and Conservation team and is focused on:

• the collaborative development and activation of policy, guidance and tools for implementation of the Indigenous Conservation Engagement Framework (ICEF),
• building Indigenous cultural awareness and competency across the organization, and
• providing guidance and support for NCC staff to build meaningful relationships through engagement with Indigenous Peoples.

This work supports the achievement of NCC’s strategic priority to be a trusted partner and ally with Indigenous Peoples, to transform their conservation practice to ensure that Indigenous rights, roles and responsibilities are recognized and respected, and to support Indigenous-led conservation.
